About Me

I work as a Technical Product Manager Intern at The Washington Post. Before that, I started as a Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase & Co and transitioned to Technical Product Manager. I graduate in December 2022 with a Master of Science in Information Systems at The University of Utah.
As an IT grad, I am enthusiastic about using technology to bring ideas to life. I specialize in building technology products like websites, applications, or anything in between. Here are a few skills and technologies I've been utilizing to build incredible products:

Technical Product Manager (Jan 2018 – Dec 2021)
  • Worked on a desktop-based application to design and develop significant components, optimize the existing logic, fix production issues, migration from legacy services to REST API and modernization.
  • Setup centralized logging for applications using Splunk, to detect anomalies, and developed cleanup scripts
  • Developed a utility for the business users to perform data fixes without technical support
  • Developed a web application for skill assessment and learning, end-to-end.

Summer Research Intern (May 2015 – July 2015)
  • Worked on Anusaaraka, a Natural Language Processing (NLP) Research and Development project - a machine translation system.
  • Developed a parser for text extraction and noise removal from data in various files
  • Enhanced the loading speed of output files generated by Anusaaraka.
  • Analyzed the layered output and did data classification
  • Did sentence alignment, word alignment and evaluated the machine (Anusaaraka) translated sentences.
  • Generated parallel corpus of NCERT books using ‘Champollion’ software.

Game Developer Intern (Jan 2015 – Mar 2015)
  • Learned the concepts of game development such as Masking, Texturing etc. and developed a 2D game, Pong in a cross-platform language, Haxe using various libraries like Away3D, Actuate, Flixel, Lime, and OpenFL.
